Miki Agrawal On Building Better Business Connections

Miki Agrawal is a serial entrepreneur and speaker who believes in building businesses that create meaningful connections to people, organizations, communities and causes.

Miki Agrawal opened her first business at 18 and has since run two ventures successfully for women entrepreneurs. Her company Thinx was founded as a reusable feminine care product and has grown rapidly over the last four years, with sales exceeding $22 million and operations in 10 countries.

With a passion for design and marketing, Miki helps entrepreneurs find their voice and become more visible to the communities they serve. This year she was honored to take the stage at TED in Vancouver and Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business.

She is also a member of NYC’s most influential Incubator, The Dream Team, where her company is supported by some of the world’s biggest companies. Soon to be launching as a subscription service for period products, she recently developed a new solution layer called THINX FLEX that allows THINX to be worn more comfortably by women of all shapes and sizes (Flex is available now on Kickstarter).

Focused on empowering more women to become entrepreneurs, Miki is also the co-founder of Women Who Tech, a global nonprofit organization that supports, connects and celebrates female innovators. She has been named by Refinery29 as one of the top women in tech-changing the game and was recently featured in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” in both consumer technology and society.

She believes that we can all be our most creative selves when connected to people, organizations, communities and causes we believe in.

Miki Agrawal graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Sociology and Religious Studies and has lived in seven countries on three continents. She lives between New York City and San Francisco with her husband, co-founder of The Ally Coalition, John Bielenberg.
