André Des Rochers Career Path

André Des Rochers is a cosplayer who travels to conventions and meets new people. He has also been interviewed for such publications as The Inquisitr and VICE about his peculiar hobby.

 

His Achievements

Since 2008, André has spent 36 hours in a single 6-foot-tall unbreakable corset. He carries an expensive and heavy camera everywhere he goes so that people know exactly who he is. He has also traveled to more than 40 countries and competes in cosplay contests. In 2014, HuffPost Life published an interview with André Des Rochers about his photoshoots. 

 

He has also been interviewed about cosplay by The Inquisitr and VICE publications such as The Daily Beast and VICE. His story began in 2008 when he was 16 years old when he dressed up as a white Cerberus nude and walked around the South of France. Soon after, André Des Rochers´ travel to Japan to participate in the Dragon-Con Convention and, soon after that, to Singapore to take part in the Singapore Chinese Festival.

 

The entertainment lawyer currently lives in Singapore, a country known for being cosmopolitan. As André explained, “Singapore is the perfect place to be cosplayer and to travel (LinkedIn).”

The successful legal professional has visited the United States of America several times since 2008, often visiting conventions such as Anime Expo and San Diego Comic-Con. He also participated in the renowned London Film and Comic Con in 2012. André Des Rochers´experience and expertise have allowed him to be hired as a model by Riot Games for their League of Legends Championship Series, with his character design appearing on a T-shirt between November 20th, 2013, and March 9th, 2014.
