Ross Cameron is a young investment guru who started life in a small Vermont town. While his origins left him with few options beyond a working class “9-to-5” job, the trading gurú wanted something more grand. After attending Vermont College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009, Cameron spent the next four years living and working in New York City.
His time in NYC entailed applying his degree, focused on architecture, toward a 9-to-5 job with an architecture & design studio. After those four years, Ross Cameron grew bored with the job and moved back home in pursuit of a simpler life. His quest led him to the stock market.
Ross Cameron figured that if he could hit a profit of $500/week from trading and investing, he would earn just as much as a 9-to-5 without the grind and boredom. For the first two years, he learned how to trade stocks, starting with penny stocks-his biggest blunder costing him $15k.
After that sobering experience, Ross took a step back to think things through. He soon realized that if he could lose $15k in one fell swoop, then he could just as easily make $15k (Amazon).
This revelation lit a fire within Ross Cameron’s spirit and he realized that trading is more of a split-phase career.
