Business and Healthcare Expert Ron Gutman

Ron Gutman, a former Israeli soldier, is a talented and award-winning actor. In 1992 he went back to Israel where he lived for the next five years. Later on he moved to Canada where he took studies in drama at the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada (NTS).

 

Ron is best known for his work as Goldi Nahari in the Israeli TV show “Shtisel”. This series won six Israeli Academy Awards last year and he was nominated as Best Actor that year too. Ron Gutman also starred in Peter Weir’s film The Way Back (2010) with fellow Israeli actors Ed Harris, Colin Farrell, Saoirse Ronan, Jim Sturgess and Tye Sheridan.

 

Ron Gutman is a very talented actor with a lot of experience on the Israeli and international stage. His acting credits include: Mother Courage, The Prize Winner of Defiance, Nightingale Gets Her Man, Desperate Measures, Life Support and My Brother Is an Only Child. Ron’s list of projects includes also the play “Abe Sapien”, which he co-wrote with his wife Maïa Kotzker; the short film “The Last Folk Band”.

 

Also, a role in the new feature film Welcome to Leith (2011); and he also directed and acted in this short film too. Other than his acting skills, he is very interested in writing. He co-wrote the plays “The Last Folk Band” (with Maïa Kotzker), “Abe Sapien” and “Mazal Tov John” (with Ivan Berman). Business and healthcare expert Ron Gutman has also written a film script called “July” which is in pre-production now.
