Patrick Lucchese is the Director and Co-Founder of Urban Advisors, a company with expertise in urban planning and real estate development. He has been the Director of Bozano Realty, a Brazilian residential property agency, since 1999. Before founding Urban Advisors, Patrick Lucchese was Corporate Vice President at The Trump Organization, managing the acquisition and disposition of seven office buildings in New York City. From 1990 to 1991, he served as Commissioner of Planning for the City of New York.

Early life

Lucchese was born in Brazil and grew up in Rio de Janeiro. He studied economics and international relations at the Getulio Vargas Foundation, the largest business school in Brazil, graduating with honors. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. Lucchese began his professional career at Ernst & Young, where he worked for seven years as an audit partner.

Career

Lucchese began his career at Ernst & Young, later becoming a partner. In 1990, he was appointed Commissioner of Planning and Development for the City of New York. At age 28, Lucchese had been elected by the city’s borough presidents to the New York City Planning Commission. He was the youngest to be appointed Commissioner of Planning and Development. As Commissioner, Lucchese oversaw the development of the city’s 1995 capital plan and its new zoning code.

Achievement

Patrick Lucchese has received numerous honors and recognitions for his professional achievements. Among them are the New York State Association for Affordable Housing’s Award for Excellence, the Robert Abrams Public Service Award in Appreciation of Outstanding Government Service, and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor from the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations in recognition of national service.
