As a banker by profession, Tanner Winterhof grew up in Northwest Iowa on a swine and row crop farm. He attended college, and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and financial services. He is also an Iowa Bankers Associations Ag Credit School graduate and the current secretary at the Ames Foundation.
In July 2019, Tanner Winterhof formed a podcast called farm4Profit and a farm4fun. He founded them to educate farmers on more ways to achieve higher levels of profitability by giving them trend techniques, information on insurance pricing, negotiations with their bankers and business associates.
In the podcast, he hosts some of the most notable guests who discuss their innovative practices in farming and the importance of indoor farming. Also, Tanner Winterhof adds, sub-surface irrigation, checking of weather patterns, upgrade of equipment, chip technology, marketing and branding, microbes in livestock, quality and safety on farm products.
He can reach out to a huge number of audiences worldwide. As of 2023, Tanner Winterhof´s podcast subscriber count was 14k followers and counting. He hosts top influencers like the athletic director of Iowa State University, Jamie Pollard.
Mr tanner Winterhof has found a way of engaging with the community by creating a friendly environment with the farmers. He has also contributed immensely to the Story County Volunteer Center and the Lily Pad Learning Center.
