After watching his team drink Bai drink, Hufnagel had an idea to revolutionize the drink industry and create a product that would be worth bottling. The idea was that it would be a zero sugar, 5-calorie, lemon flavored water infused with natural flavors and plant sweeteners. This product would serve as a healthy alternative to sugary drinks. But this was not going to be an easy ride.
Finding investors for the drink was an uphill task for Hufnagel. He had to design the label himself, find a bottle supplier and also apply for a patent. He had to sweat out the details from creating the prototype, building an e-commerce website and finding distributors across America to making sure that the product was available in stores.
